Tracey Fugett, LCSW, is a trauma-informed clinician dedicated to creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work in 2004 and her Master of Social Work in 2007 from East Texas A&M University.
Born in Dallas and raised in Marshall, Texas, Tracey began her professional career with Child Protective Services, where she spent five years supporting children and families navigating complex, high-risk situations. This foundational experience shaped her deep understanding of trauma, attachment, family systems, and resilience.
Tracey later served for 15 years as the Social Work Director at a skilled nursing facility, where she collaborated within interdisciplinary teams to support individuals across the lifespan. During this time, she developed extensive expertise in crisis intervention, care coordination, grief support, and guiding families through significant life transitions.
After relocating to Alaska in 2007, Tracey expanded her clinical focus to include therapy with children, adolescents, and young adults, as well as crisis response services. Her work centers on helping clients process trauma, manage emotional dysregulation, navigate life transitions, and address acute mental health concerns with practical, evidence-based strategies.
Tracey approaches therapy from a strengths-based and client-centered perspective. She integrates trauma-informed care principles, recognizing the impact of past experiences while focusing on empowerment, skill-building, and resilience. She believes healing happens within safe relationships and strives to foster a collaborative environment where clients can build effective coping skills, increase self-awareness, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.
