Elizabeth H. Basan-Forrest, LCSW
With five years of experience supporting individuals, couples, children, and families, I bring a compassionate and client-centered approach to counseling. I currently work with elementary-aged students, using play therapy and age-appropriate tools to help children feel heard and understood. I’ve also worked with adults and couples, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) to guide clients through meaningful growth and change.
I am passionate about creating a space where people feel safe, valued, and supported—where they can express their true selves without judgment. My goal is to help clients feel secure in their own emotions and experiences while working together to create actionable plans that foster clarity and a sense of control. I believe therapy is a collaborative journey to uncover strength, build self-trust, and find your way forward.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy making art. It’s my safe place—a grounding outlet that helps me stay connected and creative.
